Hosted by the NYC Center for Health Equity & Community Wellness, the Community Mental Wellness & Resilience Workshop is a free, three-hour training designed to strengthen individual and community mental health across New York City. Held on multiple dates at the Bedford Neighborhood Health Action Center (485 Throop Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11221), this in-person workshop focuses on empowerment, awareness, and practical support strategies.

Participants will learn to identify mental health warning signs and risk factors, practice R.I.S.E., a tool for building individual and collective resilience, and explore effective strategies for managing stress. The workshop also highlights mental health resources available throughout NYC, helping attendees feel more prepared to support themselves and others within their communities.

This accessible and community-centered program creates space for learning, connection, and skill-building to promote long-term mental wellness and resilience.
