Hosted by Tammie T. Elliott, Mind Ya Mental: Black Mental Health Forum is a community-centered event focused on reimagining emotional wellness in Black communities. Taking place on Saturday, September 12 at the Mary McLeod Bethune Life Center in Jersey City, this forum brings together community members, educators, parents, church leaders, and professionals for a supportive and judgment-free conversation.

The event explores practical, culturally responsive approaches to mental health beyond traditional clinical settings. Discussions will address mental wellness among Black youth, the unique experiences of Black women, and emotional support for Black men, while offering opportunities to connect with vendors, resources, and community partners.

Designed to promote prevention, empowerment, and collective care, Mind Ya Mental invites attendees to learn, share, and build stronger support systems around Black mental wellness.
