Hosted by Edenas Children, Make-With-Data: Bioblitz for Mental Health is an Earth Day-inspired event that brings together nature, data collection, and mental wellness. Taking place on Wednesday, April 22 at Pier 57 (New York, NY), this interactive experience invites participants to explore the connection between environmental engagement and improved mental health.
Through hands-on activities, attendees will learn how connecting with nature can positively impact mood and overall well-being. The event also introduces participants to mapping biodiversity, encouraging them to observe and document plants and animals while contributing to community-based data collection efforts.
Designed to be both educational and restorative, this event highlights how science, sustainability, and mental health intersect — creating a meaningful opportunity to connect with both nature and community.
