Hosted by Edenas Children, Make-With-Data: Mapping Mental Health is an interactive workshop that blends data science, mapping skills, and real-world mental health challenges. Taking place on January 28 at Pier 57 (25 11th Avenue, New York, NY), this in-person session invites participants to explore how mental health intersects with geography, sustainability, and community conditions.
Through hands-on activities, attendees will examine patterns in mental health data and investigate questions around access to care, prevalence of conditions like anxiety and depression, and the role of socioeconomic and environmental factors. The workshop is designed to be accessible to all levels, with beginners encouraged to participate.
Participants are asked to bring their own laptops, with devices available upon request. All donations support program materials and curriculum development, helping expand community-based learning around mental health and data literacy.
