Hosted by Edenas Children, Make-With-Data: Mapping Mental Health is an interactive, hands-on workshop that combines data science, mapping, and community-based problem solving. Taking place on Wednesday, February 25 at Pier 57 (25 11th Avenue, New York, NY), this in-person session invites participants to explore how mental health intersects with geography, sustainability, and social conditions.
Through guided activities, attendees will analyze mental health data to examine patterns related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, and access to care. Using real-world data sources and scientific methods, the workshop encourages participants to ask meaningful questions about how socioeconomic and environmental factors influence mental health outcomes.
All experience levels are welcome, with beginners encouraged to attend. Participants should bring their own laptops, with devices available upon request. All donations support program materials and curriculum development.
