Hosted by Franzeska Sampson-Bacchus, the 2026 Black Men’s Mental Health Symposium is a hybrid event designed to create space for honest conversation, education, and empowerment around Black men’s mental health. Taking place on Thursday, April 23 at Medgar Evers College, CUNY (Brooklyn, NY) and online, this event welcomes both in-person and virtual attendees.
The symposium brings together professionals, advocates, and community members for meaningful dialogue on mental health awareness and support within Black communities. Attendees can engage in discussions that promote healing, connection, and growth in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available through the Office of Mental Health for participants who attend the full session, either in person or virtually. Advance registration is required.
